SERVICES

Our Sunday service runs from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Sunday School begins before worship with classes for all ages from 9:00-10:00 a.m. Our service is a mix of the traditional and the new, so please come as you are. We desire to worship the Lord in both spirit and truth. Members of all ages are included in worship. We hope to train the young to be ready for leadership in the coming years, and we desire to allow the gifts and talents of all our members to shine for the glory of God.

MUSIC

Our worship team is composed of all ages, and will lead you in songs of worship. We like to honor everyone attending, so our music style is a mix between contemporary songs and traditional hymns. You are welcome to sing along, but you don't have to if you are not comfortable. Some may clap, some may raise their hands, and some may close their eyes during worship - we want everyone to feel comfortable worshiping. Our hope is that through our worship experience, you will feel closer to God.

SERMON/MESSAGE

The message, or sermon, will be given sometime during the service, will be Bible-based and may include references to other literary, visual, or media sources. The sermon is often apart of a series that the church is working through or in response to something God has put on the pastor's heart. You do not have to be present for every sermon in a series to get something out of the message.

COMMUNION

Communion is open to everyone who has accepted Christ as their Lord and Savior,  who have earnestly repented of their sins, and are at peace with their neighbor. We hold communion periodically throughout the year.  Communion is a commemoration of Christ's sacrifice. It is typically held leading up to Holy Week and during Advent as well.

SUNDAY SCHOOL

Bible study is important at Cedar Grove. We offer classes for all ages at 9:00 a.m.

A nursery room is provided  in the rear of the sanctuary for  infants through age two .  Children’s church (ages three through 6th grade) is held every other Sunday and begins just before the sermon or  a children's message will be provided during the worship service.
